Next morning is Saturday and every one is up for 8am for an hour of Pilates or Yoga which seems most right for that day. After that it’s breakfast time with a selection of fresh fruit, muesli, porridge, yogurts, and some home made sour dough bread and herbal teas.
At 10 am we begin learning and practicing level 1 of Eva Fraser facial exercises and this brings us up to 12 m. At this point everyone is feeling a little tired from all the facial exercise work so a gentle guided relaxation is undertaken. This is usually very welcomed by all.
At 1pm we have lunch which is vegetarian and mostly consists of a selection of salads, crackers, sourdough/brown breads, vegan cake. If the weather is particularly cold a hearty homemade soup is offered.
Lunch break is from 1pm-3pm and if the weather permits most people take some time for a stroll along the beach. So be sure to bring some warm clothing and footwear. When the weather is gentler in summer some people choose to use this time to go for a swim.
At 3 pm, it’s back to work for Level 2 of the Eva Fraser facial exercise system. This class builds on what was learned in the previous class and is a complete work out for the face. Elaine makes sure everyone is quite comfortable with the exercise movements before the class ends.
There is usually free time between 5 and 6 pm. Dinner is sometime around 6pm and includes a vegetarian main course and dessert. A glass of wine or two accompanies the meal for anyone who would like it. The remainder of the evening is free and most people are happy to sit down and relax and share stories and experiences, before bedtime.
Sunday and begins again at 8am with Yoga or Pilates followed by breakfast.
From 10am to 12pm, we revisit all the facial exercises learned the previous day to make sure that everyone is familiar with all the movements. This is followed by a guided meditation/relaxation. Everyone is free to go home after this or they are welcome to stay for lunch.
